Executive Leader, Mom, Daughter, and Blessed Woman of God

Serving on several non-profit boards, Dodie ia a leader in healthcare management, strategic planning, community development, organizing, and much more!  Widowed to the late Craig LaMott, Sr.,  Dodie and her husband were married for 25 years. They have two children: Ebony Jarnie LaMott and Craig LaMott, Jr., and one grandson, Jonah Rye LaMott.

Residing in Broussard, Louisiana, USA, Dodie enjoys reading, journaling, cooking,  and community service  projects. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (University of Louisiana at Lafayette – ULL). She also earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in Health  Service Administration (MHSA) from the University of St. Francis. Dodie’s an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (Lafayette Alumnae Chapter) and a member of Crossroads Church where she serves on the prayer team and ministry assistance programs (MAPS). Dodie’s devotion to serving and encouraging her family and friends is the motivation behind Silence of the Heart Daily Devotionals. What started as daily texts of inspiration has quickly expanded to a collection of devotionals plus journal/workbook.
